Amanda Winton

I always knew from a young age that I wanted to work with animals.

I graduated from Sheridan College in 2010 for the Animal Care Program as well as I received my Municipal Law Enforcement Officer certificate in 2011.

Shortly after that I worked for the Town of Caledon as a Kennel attendant & Animal Control Officer for 4 years. My passion and love for animal welfare and health grew from there in which, I decided to work within the veterinarian industry. I worked at an emergency vet office in Mississauga for 2 years and then worked at another clinic in Orangeville for 7 years, before joining Fifth Avenue Veterinary Clinic team as a Veterinary Assistant!

I am also currently in school working towards becoming a Registered Veterinarian Technician.

When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time in nature with family, my daughter and our Akita mix, Remi.
